What can I expect from a visit with Carrie?

The first appointment will be 1.5 hours. Carrie will go over your full health history, including any labs that you may have, and will answer any questions; then, she will develop a personalized protocol that includes diet, drainage or detox therapies (if needed), supplementation, and lifestyle change recommendations.

Follow-up appointments are scheduled every 5-6 weeks, and Carrie will change your protocol based on symptoms and/or changes in health. She will also consider any new labs - they are not necessary, but helpful.

With follow-up appointments, consistency is key; the goal is healing, so that when you have completed your work with Carrie, you will have established new habits to support your health journey.

Hours:

Tuesday/Thurs: 10-3

Can you diagnose?

No, we can not diagnose.

Do you treat disease?

No, we teach you the tools you need to help support your body at the foundational level: real food, whole food supplements, drainage or detox (if needed), and other lifestyle changes. Often, when we support the foundations such as digestion, the nervous system, the HPA-axis, detoxification, etc., the body slowly comes back into balance.

Do you prescribe medications and can someone who is on medications work with you?

Carrie is not a medical practitioner, and so does not prescribe medications. Most of the clients we work with are on medications and they are able to incorporate the nutritional therapy we recommend. We always recommend informing your doctor of any supplements you are taking, so that they can check for any contraindications or concerns.

Can you order labs for me?

We cannot order labs, but most clients like to order them through their doctor, especially if it’s covered by insurance; you can also order most labs at TrueHealthLabs.com. When we look over your labs, we do not do so to diagnose, but to see where there might be some imbalance in the body and how we can best support that imbalance with nutrition.

Do you offer email support in-between appointments?

If you have a question that involves a 1-2 sentence answer, feel free to send it along to Carrie. If it requires more than 1-2 sentences, we ask that you book a consult, so that we can get out your file, review your situation and then best answer your questions. Also, it is best not to direct message Carrie on social media when asking a question about your protocol; account names and profile pictures can become confusing, and we want to be able to best serve you! Email or booking a consult is the best way to contact us.

Do you recommend specific supplements?

Yes. Based on your health history, symptoms, etc., we will recommend specific supplements for your situation. Carrie will send you a link where you can purchase them and have them shipped directly to your doorstep. We want to make it as easy as possible for you.

Do you work with clients virtually?

Carrie is currently only working with clients in person.

Can you help me get off my medications?

Legally, Carrie is not able to give any advice on your medications. We always leave this to the expertise of your doctor.

We’d love to hear from you.
